Biking

Move in all the best circles.

Some bikers prefer a paved road. Others prefer a dirt trail. Either way, The Parklands has you covered. Outside of the bike park, hikers and walkers share all of our bike-accessible trails, so always pass on the left and alert those who you’re moving around. Choose your route based on the trail usage, the distance, and the difficulty level, and then get rolling.

Let the good times roll.

Over sixty miles of hike-bike trails web throughout The Parklands. Thanks to a donation from Scheller’s Fitness and Cycling, the Parklands offers five bike repair stations along the Louisville Loop. Find them at the William F. Miles Trailhead, the Pope Lick Trailhead, Seaton Valley Trailhead, between the Brown-Forman Silo Center and the Bike Park, and the Broad Run Valley Trailhead. For a pedestrian-free ride, check out the seasonal Silo Center Bike Park in Turkey Run Park. The Parklands authorizes persons over the age of 16 to use “Class I” electric-assist bicycles, commonly known as e-bikes, on roadways and designated bike trails.
