The Strand

6510 Echo Trail, Louisville, KY 40299

The Palisades, Walnut Grove, Mussel Bend — these are some of the areas of beauty within the Strand, the central puzzle-piece of The Parklands connecting its northern and southern parks. Over five miles of the Louisville Loop run through the Strand, crossing leaping bridges and winding along neighboring agricultural fields. Here you’ll find mosaics of fossils and shadowy undergrowth that flows down to the canoe launch and fishing holes of Floyds Fork.
