The Strand
The Strand Trailhead is located at about the midway point of the Strand, and makes for a great pitstop along a run or a bike ride through this part of The Parklands. The trailhead features two restrooms, a water fountain, an area for visitors to rest, a parking lot that accommodates 27 vehicles, and interpretive information to enhance the visitor experience. We encourage visitors to use the trailhead as a launching-point for outdoor adventures in such areas the Palisades, Walnut Grove, or Mussel Bend. Please note that water fountains turn off during the winter.
