Temporary Louisville Loop Closure in The Strand & Broad Run Park; Highland Crossing Trail Partially Closed
Broad Run Park, The Strand
Beginning Tuesday, April 14, two separate maintenance projects will close portions of the Louisville Loop, with the second project also partially closing the Highland Crossing Trail.

Project One: The Strand
Begins Tuesday, April 14
The Louisville Loop will be closed at the Long Bridge in the Ascent (Mile Marker 66.0). Work will begin Tuesday, April 14, and is expected to last approximately three weeks, depending on weather and other conditions.

Project Two: Broad Run Park
Begins Wednesday, April 15
The Louisville Loop will be closed at the Big Vista Overlook (Mile Marker 56.3), and the northern portion of the Highland Crossing Trail will be closed between the crosswalks along Broad Run Parkway. Work will begin Wednesday, April 15, and is expected to last only a few days. The Big Vista Overlook Parking Lot will remain open.
Also impacted: The Leatherwood Trail will not have access to the Louisville Loop. Visitors may access this trail only via the Limestone Gorge Trail.
