Wee Walking Club
Beckley Creek Park
Calling all parents, caregivers, and wee ones! Join us for Wee Walking Club – a relaxed, nature-based meet-up designed for adults with babies and toddlers in tow.
These walks are the perfect way to get outside, connect with other caregivers, and introduce your little ones to the wonders of the natural world. Each week features a new trail, under a mile and a half, all paced just right for little legs and conversation.
The program is free, and no registration is required. The hike will still go on if there is rain. In the case of dangerous weather, please check our alerts page on our website for any changes or cancellations. Wee Walking Club will meet at 10:00am and start walking at 10:15am. This program will last approximately an hour.
On September 17th, meet our rangers at the PNC Achievement Center in Beckley Creek Park at 10:00 am for a leisurely walk on the Sycamore Trail. The walk will be on a dirt surface, and it will be 1.3 miles round-trip. There will be bathrooms and changing tables present. This trail is not stroller-friendly; carriers are suggested. The PNC Achievement Center is a part of the Creekside Center in Beckley Creek Park, which includes a sprayground and playground.
