Severe winter weather is forecasted for January 24–25th, 2026. While park staff are making a strong effort to prepare park roads and major pathways, substantial snow and ice could mean temporary closures in the parks this weekend and possibly into next week.

If you’re planning a visit to The Parklands this weekend, please use caution—snow, ice, and freezing temperatures could create slippery or hazardous conditions on trails and roadways. Closures and other alerts will be posted here as information becomes available.

For your safety, please respect all posted signs and barricades. Areas will reopen as soon as possible.
