UPDATE – MONDAY, FEB. 2, 2026:

Following the winter storm in our area on January 24–26, The Parklands is now fully open, with a few exceptions:

• All paddling access points remain closed.

• Some parking lots are only partially open.

One barricade remains in place at John Floyd Fields in Pope Lick Park, along the road leading to The Parklands Administration Building.

Park staff continue working to clear remaining snow and ice from paved areas. As melting and refreezing occur, paved trails and roadways may still be slippery. Please use extra caution.
