Louisville, Ky. (June 8, 2021) —The 3rd annual Parklands 5K Walk & Run, presented by Enchanting Adventure Travels, is this Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Beckley Creek Park. The 3.1-mile course takes participants through a portion of the scenic Parklands of Floyds Fork, a nearly 4,000-acre donor and visitor-supported park system in Louisville, KY.
Participants can compete in person on June 12, or opt to participate virtually. Extra protocols are in place to ensure the safety of all participants. Each participant receives a T-shirt and race medal.
Timing of the 5K coincides with The Parklands Membership Drive, June 6-12. Funds raised from both the race and drive go directly to The Parklands Fund, the annual campaign that raises money to support maintenance and operations of The Parklands of Floyds Fork.
