The Greensward is a 15-acre space at the southern end of the Cliffside Center that nods to Frederick Law Olmsted’s original name for Central Park in New York City. Choose this spot for a picnic and take in the unruly beauty of your surroundings. A flat, paved trail encircles the Greensward. Add on the Lowland Plain or Louisville Loop for a longer, fully-accessible walk through Cliffside Center.

A short walk from the Cliffside Playground and Sprayground, the Greensward Trail is paved and fully accessible for walkers and runners only. The meadowy views aren’t too shabby, either — perfect for playing catch or flying a kite.
