The valley is what remains of the Irongate Country Club, which became a financial failure because it was sited on the floodplain of Floyds Fork. Spread out a picnic in the shade of a trailhead or near the path that leads down to Seaton Valley Trail, which proceeds through the bottomlands along Floyds Fork, skirting the creek until it connects up with the Louisville Loop. Please note that water fountains turn off during the winter.
