Turkey Run Park
Retrofitted in the style and location of the original farm barn, the Hockensmith Barn is located in the heart of Brown-Forman Silo Center in Turkey Run Park. This idyllic space accommodates up to 225 people, and the rental includes the adjacent lawn that can be tented and used for wedding ceremonies or other events.
The Hockensmith Barn has been raised in traditional Amish style, yet it’s also ADA accessible, and it offers restrooms and parking, and a food preparation space for approved caterers. Plus, it’s just 30 minutes east of downtown Louisville. The open slats of the structure bring the weather indoors, so the barn is available to rent during the warm months — from mid-May to mid-October. Stroll through the barn entryway and the space soars above you. The rafters are festooned in twinkle lights for weddings, and the back doors open onto a stone walkway winding past rows of seats that look upon ceremonies under the trees.
