Echo Rim Trail
Beckley Creek Park
From the sports fields parking lot at the southern end of the Humana Grand Allee, a crosswalk over Beckley Creek Parkway will lead you to the Black Willow Trail. Turn left onto the crushed gravel trail and walk for about 0.12 miles to reach the Echo Rim Trailhead.
Winding along the outer “rim” of the Distillery Bend area, the hike-only trail moves from a crushed stone to dirt surface, with a winding staircase in between. It begins in wooded areas before opening into meadows and savanna, with several stream crossings along the way.
The trail follows a “lollipop” layout, guiding you on a straight path to a loop and back along the same route. At the top of the stone staircase, you’ll find large oak trees and an overlook with views of Floyds Fork. Another highlight is the Hedgeapple Flats, a forest of Osage Orange trees that invites exploration.
