Nestled at the base of a cliff overlooking the southern limit of The Parklands, the Cliffside Center is an active site complex. The amenities include the Greensward, the Redbud Shelter, the Ogle Foundation Woodland Pavilion, the Cliffside Playground and Sprayground, and the Midway — a gravel walk lined with benches, newly planted trees, perennial beds, and room for 33 vendor tents. You can also find the Cliffside Paddling Access a short distance from the Bardstown Road entry to The Parklands.

Cliffside Playground and Sprayground

The playgrounds, picnic tables and restrooms of Cliffside Playground & Sprayground are open year-round. Water at the sprayground is on from the first Monday in May through September, weather permitting. Make a splash, then enjoy a snack at nearby tables under the shade structures. Tables are non-reservable and fill up fast in the summer. Rent the Redbud Shelter or the nearby Ogle Foundation Woodland Pavilion for guaranteed shade on a hot day. Please note that water fountains are turned off during the winter.
