Ben Stout House

Turkey Run Park

The Ben Stout House is the oldest man-made structure in The Parklands. Research indicates that Squire Boone is listed on the deed, which is from the County of Kentucky when this land was still part of Virginia. Thanks to a generous grant, The Parklands has been able to repair and restore the house to preserve it for future generations. Hike along the Boone Bottoms or the Wild Hyacinth Trail, then picnic at tables nearby this two-story limestone treasure.
