Wee Wednesday Wonders are interactive programs designed to spark the curiosity of young children. This session is for Pre-K and Kindergarten (recommended ages 2-5) early learners. In this hour long program children discover their place in the world through connection to their local landscape. Each week students will wonder something new. Utilizing story-telling, simple science experiments, sensory activities, play, and art we will nurture motor skills, communication skills, and learn early natural history concepts through discovery of nature. Come prepared for the weather as we go outside for hikes, creekwalks and activities during all seasons. View the list of topics for 2024 here.
