Shakespeare in the Parks Tour ‒ The Tempest

Broad Run Park

Shakespeare in the Parks is making a couple of tour stops at The Parklands in 2026!

On Sunday, May 10, join us for a FREE, family-friendly performance of The Tempest at the Ogle Foundation Woodland Pavilion in Broad Run Park, beginning at 1:00pm. Bring a lawn chair—no reservations or tickets required.

Shakespeare’s final play is a testament to the redeeming power of love and forgiveness—featuring fools, spirits, monsters, shipwrecks, and magical spells. This one-act comedy, performed by five actors, is an enchanting way to celebrate spring in Broad Run Park.

This performance is sponsored by Councilman Stuart Benson, District 20, and Councilman Kevin Bratcher, District 22. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
