Winter is a quiet time of the year at The Parklands, but there’s still so much to explore and discover! The trails are open, wildlife is active, and fun is waiting to be had. Did you know box turtles hibernate? Or that beavers stay active all winter long? Or that trees drop their leaves to conserve energy?
Your curious nature explorer will have a blast diving deeper into these topics and more while experiencing The Parklands in a fascinating new season! Our winter break day camps, designed for students in grades K-6, are filled with hands-on activities that will inspire their love of nature and keep them learning all season long.
Winter Break Camp runs December 23, 26, 27, & 30, 2024 and January 2 & 3, 2025.
Camp sign-ups are flexible to fit your holiday schedule! Registration is available for individual days, so you can choose just one or as many days as you’d like. Camps are not scheduled for a full week due to the holiday, but the dates offered will give your child plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and have fun in nature this season!
