The Silo Center Bike Park in Turkey Run Park is closed for the winter. Closing the bike park during the coldest portion of the year helps protect the trails from costly and irreparable damage that can occur during the freeze/thaw cycle. Once temperatures begin to freeze, the ground enters a continuous freeze/thaw cycle that can quickly turn into a muddy mess on sunny winter days. The bike park will reopen in the spring. While other natural surface trails throughout The Parklands remain open year-round, we ask that visitors practice trail etiquette. If there is mud on your heels or wheels, please turn around! Visitor cooperation will help preserve our trails for current and future generations.
