Join The Parklands Rangers and The Louisville Astronomical Society for a star-gazing party! On December 9th, LAS will be setting up their high-end telescopes for public viewing between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. outside the PNC Achievement Center in Beckley Creek Park. Enjoy the park after dark by stopping by anytime between those hours to star-gaze through high-powered telescopes and learn about the night sky from our rangers and experts in the field of astronomy. Don’t worry about the cold! The PNC Achievement Center will be open, and hot drinks will be served to warm up. This event is free and open to all ages, and no registration is required.
