ATTENTION VISITORS: During construction, please use the Hatmaker’s entrance off Taylorsville Rd. (just after the gas station, on the right, coming from I-265). The S. Pope Lick Rd entrance has been closed temporarily for construction. There will be detour signs on site to help direct you to the John Floyd Fields.
On January 1, 2011, The Parklands of Floyds Fork assumed responsibility of John Floyd Fields through an innovative agreement with Metro Louisville. The Parklands of Floyds Fork, a dream realized by the nonprofit 21st Century Parks, will provide all maintenance, operations and programming for John Floyd Fields, and will integrate the park and its resources into The Parklands overall recreational, educational and conservation planning.
