Help us restore native habitat … and get a sneak peek of what is soon to come at The Parklands.
April 14, 2012
9 a.m. – Noon
Pope Lick Park at The Parklands of Floyds Fork
Invasive plants are one of the most challenging natural resource management issues for The Parklands. One of the most challenging species is the garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata). This low growing flowering plant crowds out many of Kentucky’s native wildflowers.
Help us attack three acres of lands that are heavily infested with the garlic mustard. Please consider joining us for three hours of work that will immediately make a special place in The Parklands a better place for native plants and animals.
